Involvement in the worlds dramas is something each of us must choose and decide upon: which causes to support, which people to interact with and commit to, how much time and effort to place in any particular location, in what ways to share our talents and reinforce what we believe in. With the revolution for a new humanity underway, we must each of us now consider these questions fully.  

Christopher M. Bach, an author who writes about near death and psychedelic experience, speaks extensively of relationships between the individual and the species mind. "Each one of us carries within us the collective diseases of our time.  If our society is ill, each of us has a share in its illness. If our society is racist, sexist, violent, or consumed by greed, these diseases live in our collective soul. The cells of these cancers are distributed among all of us because our lives are the tissues that make up the psychic organs of the species-mind...The species-mind both defines the edge of learning for each generation and integrates the learning of its individual members at a centralized level of awareness...At the death-rebirth level, personal pain can blend with collective pain so deeply that they cease to register as separate phenomena and are instead experienced as but different localized expressions of a single movement...The larger story is humanity's collective evolution and divinity's progressive involution into spacetime." The sheikh of our dervish group in London consistently reminds us that we do need to play our part in the drama of life, but that we must also remember the drama is already played out.  I translate this to the mantra, show up and trust.  Please, consider what your role is in creation of New Earth, what you must show up to.  Then, show up in every way that your heart implores, stay strong, and trust.  We are one big evolving heart, beating in tune to the involuting heart of all that is.  So bang on the drum!!  

In the words of a dear dear friend, "the infinite is in love with displays of time." The majestic flowering of human consciousness, that joy we are now birthing, is present, here, in you, in me, in glorious displays of action!
