About This Blog

This blog attempts to chronicle my interest and growing visibility in the shaman's way. As a child I was very open to spirit worlds, and this quality was fostered and nurtured by my parents, my mother especially. In my twenties I found myself immersed in the study and practice of Polarity Therapy, a holistic system of bodywork, counseling, yoga, and nutrition developed by Dr. Randolph Stone. I began my Polarity Practice in 2002, and it is from this point that shamanic doors began to open and I began to journey with my clients. In 2009 a radical series of life events and unexpected doors began to fly open in fast succession. The most deeply touching is that of the whirling dervish, where I was trained and initiated in a five month intensive process. Following the blazing path opened to me, I now work with daily practices combining many forms of bodywork, meditation, yoga, and ecstatic dance. I remain true to the beating heart of Ayahuasca on a personal level, and to the community of the Shuar from which she came to me. My doctorate on spiritual and artistic practice will be completed in 2014. Please share in my personal journey, it is ever growing and ever changing. As we each awaken and New Earth is being co-created, every one of your comments are most welcome. In Eternal Peace~ Hannah Skywalker Dancing Heart

R-evolution

I write this is sweeping blue, for a sky of freedom.  Disturbing language is being used in the governments of the 'developed' world right now, language which seeks to pin pro-testers and demonstrators as domestic threats, and well, we are.  We are a threat to the established order, no longer petitioning them for power, but creating our own.  The dinosaurs are holding on tight, squeezing their grip, and rather than be demoralized I choose to see this as a sign that the economic elite are truly afraid. By attempting to capitalize on fear the ultra-privileged will only turn their populous against them, for domestic terrorism hardly resides in camping out/speaking out or growing your own community - there are not many who will be coerced to believe this.  The true terror is the soulless consumer oriented world they would ask us to hand our children!  We have finally come together, one humanity, or alot of us anyway, responding to a tide much bigger than any of us can comprehend - pushing us, attuning us, calling us - into our new earth, and nothing, nothing can stop this uprising - the uprising of an entire planet!
Last weekend at the occupation we worked hard, trying for consensus in the freezing cold outside St. Pauls Cathedral, keeping warm, hatching plans, encouraging each other.  There are problems with the consensus process, there are problems getting things done.  In the wee hours of the night we sang jazz and blues and danced crazy cabaret acts, and some of us read poetry.  As the movement struggles to maintain its ground faces shift and thin.  The second trimester is upon us.  Burnout has gutted some, others have had to return to studies or jobs or families, but there are those who carry on, who persist.  And they are joined by new faces, new energies, and the tide of revolution goes thus.  A flow of hearts.
For me personally the occupation has been a ground of great personal transformation.  I have seen others popping open in similar ways too, many others.  There is something about coming into our collective power, standing up in each one of ourselves not as big I, but as little i, which heals the past and creates a future of different hues and textures.  this alone is reason enough to be involved in the movement, this alone is revolution!
i am so powerful.  you are so powerful.  we are so damn powerful.  it is lovely. i celebrate us, in our victories and our struggles, our cooperation and our frightening disintegration into the next phase...

You should come close to me tonight wayfarer
For I will be celebrating you.
Your beauty still causes me madness,
Keeps the neighbors complaining
When I start shouting in the middle of the night
Because I can't bear all this joy.
We will be giving birth to suns.
We will be holding forests upside down
Gently shaking soft animals from trees and burrows.
What you conceive as imagination
Does not exist for me.
What you - the establishment- can do in a dream
Or in your mind-control
Our hands can pull - alive - from our coat pockets.
But, let's not talk about this divine world,
For what I most want to know tonight is:
All about
you.

I believe that as the movement groans, hurtles, leaps, and simpers forward it is the act of caring, of looking each other in the eyes and seeing humanity there, which will pool the resources of our collective power into greater and greater proportions.  It is a massive reorientation to move from hierarchy and fear into personal and collective power.  Our minds and behaviours have been patterned so carefully, and as we resist the patterning being thrown at us by our governments and financial institutions now, it is ok to feel a little lost, wander around a bit, and allow space for this new divine to emerge within and without.  In the words of Michael Ignatieff, "People's attachment to nations depends on their belief that the nation is the relevant arbiter of their private fate.  This is less and less so.  Political languages which appeal to us only as citizens of a nation, and never as common inhabitants of the earth, may find themselves abandoned by those in search of a truer expression of their ultimate attachments."  May the search for those ultimate attachments form toward the greatness of our capacity: community, respect, personal liberation, unity, and harmony.
Tell me all about you.......
